‘The Lodge’…quite unique in the fact that you have two
levels should you decide you need a little space from aunt
Susie: ) For groups of two to six, we will extend only the
beautiful upstairs
area. Should you have six to twelve family members coming
together, we will gladly open the downstairs area to
accommodate everyone comfortably. And no, we do not rent to
two different families at the same time ... lol!
The main level includes three bedrooms, two baths, a
complete kitchen and dining room, washer/dryer, hot tub,
etc, big screen TV/ DVD/ VCR/ and basic cable for those who
experience withdrawals from such modern conveniences. Just
kiddin’ now. |
|
|
Why, some bedrooms have their own TV as well. A lovely variety of
cherished antiques mixed with modern conveniences and mountain
decorations make ‘The Lodge’ a unique manor in which to plan your
family reunion year after year! Threebedrooms and and two baths
complete the main level. On the upper deck is our relaxing hot tub
with its own privacy porch. Listen to the katydids and night sounds
while soaking away the cares of the day! |
|
|
|
Check this out ... there is another
complete kitchen and laundry on the second level! Talk about
plenty of space for all the gals in the kitchen ... woohoo!
Plus...each level boasts its own wood-burning fireplace to
gather ‘round and reminisce of days gone
by. What a wonderful place to get re-acquainted!
Plenty of paved parking, no 4-wheel drives needed |

and wild turkey. Not to mention sighting the occasional mamma bear
with her adorable little cubs off in the distance. Tour an old
school house, church or mill and imagine how life once was. What an
experience. Nature in its truest form, the way it was intended! |

In a lovely small town you may have to 'settle' for laid
back activities such as hiking, horseback riding, touring
the magnificent Smokies, spleunking, geocaching, naturistic
sightseeing, bluegrass, daylily and old-timer craft
festivals, and the most popular being riding a tube for
hours on end!
The Little River runs the entire length of Townsend and we
are proud to have a three mile bike/walking trail ...
lighted! A new and very popular arrival to our little town
is the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center and I'll see
that you get FREE tickets to tour, just ask! Ahhhh....
relaxation for a change! Need a bit more action? 'The Lodge'
and Townsend are only 18 miles |
